We have a comprehensively equipped machine shop that is designed around automotive engine work. Most of our work is on unusual and high-performance engines, which are regularly shipped around Australia and overseas. We can undertake tasks like:-

• Reboring of most engines from vintage to ultra-modern
• Cylinder honing including the use of torque plates on selected race engines like Toyota 4AG & 3SG.
• Crankshaft and external cylindrical grinding.
• Lightening of crankshafts & other engine components. Balancing.
• Cylinder head and block top grinding. Special finishes are used for multi-layer metal gaskets.
• Manufacturing, modification or re-cutting valves as required.
• Modification of cast & forged pistons to suit specific compression ratios, racing etc.
• Fitment of cam bearings and where required, use or manufacture of adjustable cam gears.
• Resizing & aligning conrods. Adapting conrods for special uses.
• O ringing of cylinder block decks for turbo or race applications.
  Common models are RB25, RB26 or RB30 Nissan, 3SG Toyota, 4G62 Mitsubishi.
• Modification of combustion chambers & ports for race use.
• Lightening and manufacturing of steel and Aluminium Flywheels for road and track purposes
• Aluminium welding of damaged parts

We pride ourselves on being able to efficiently handle old engines & have associates who can re-metal bearings common in pre 50's engines. Engines for collectable cars, can have factory type finishes or custom painting/polishing, as required by the owner.

We always work closely with owners, especially those who only require selected work done, with them undertaking final assembly. We are happy to supply parts only, for home-mechanics to rebuild their own engine, and can offer very competitive prices.

We stock, use and are a retail supplier of the vast range of ACL standard and race products, much of which is Australian made. High quality specialist parts for common Japanese performance engines are stocked; KP Gaskets, HKS valve springs, NPW & GMB Water pumps, Koyo timing belt rollers, Mahle pistons & rings.
